RA is known for its lively music, vibrant crowd, inventive cocktails and one of the best happy hours in Orange County! So, what does its happy hour offer? It takes place Monday through Saturday from 3pm to 7pm with all appetizers and sushi ranging from $2.25 to $7.25 and alcoholic beverages ranging from $3 to $7. Now, not only does RA have a happy hour, but also a reverse happy hour that occurs every Monday through Saturday from 10pm to midnight. All happy hour and reverse happy hour deals and prices are the same. How can you beat two happy hours a day? You can’t!
RA is best known for its mouth-watering appetizers and sushi, including the Tootsy Maki, Spicy Sesame Chicken Wings, Shishito Peppers, Pineapple Cheese Wontons, Pork Gyoza, Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Salmon Roll, Avocado Roll and my personal favorite, the Viva Las Vegas Roll. The Viva Las Vegas Roll is made up of kani kama crab and cream cheese rolled in rice and seaweed, lightly tempura battered and topped with spicy tuna, kani kama crab mix and sliced lotus root. It is finished with a sweet eel sauce and spinach tempura bits. YUM!
Now, moving on to the important stuff; RA’s cocktails are unlike any others. Some of the most popular cocktails include the Samurai Cowboy, Sea Monkey, Sake Sangria, Ginger Blossom and my personal preference, the Blushing Geisha. The Blushing Geisha contains cold lemonade (who doesn’t like lemonade?) mixed with Skyy Raspberry vodka, raspberry liqueur and a splash of lemon-lime soda. Let’s just say, this cocktail looks innocent, but we all know looks can be deceiving. Along with the array of cocktails that RA has to offer, you can't forget about its imported beer, specifically Kirin and Sapporo, as well as sake. Let's be real, who doesn't love sake bombs with their sushi? They just go together!
