I’m generally an all American brunch kind of gal – bacon, eggs, hash browns and a mimosa or bloody mary. I decided to venture out and stumbled upon La Galette Creperie – I had to stop by for brunch as I’ve heard it’s a great spot! Located across the street from the San Clemente Pier, you can relax on the front patio, check out the local surfers, and enjoy one of the most beautiful views South OC has to offer.

La Galette Creperie has a variety of crepes and other great breakfast and lunch items, as well as snacks and incredible deserts! The Chicken Apple Sausage Scramble crepe, filled with scrambled eggs, sausage, rosemary potatoes, sautéed onions, and monterey jack cheese is one of the most delicious crepes I’ve had in my life! La Galette uses the freshest ingredients and the dishes are perfect size, which eliminates leaving stuffed! I’m not a desert lover, but the sweet side of the menu has amazing selections! ‘The Campfire’ is made with chocolate, marshmallow cream, and crumbled graham crackers, and is SO good! The homemade strawberry shortcake, served with strawberries and vanilla sauce is what won me over – I highly recommend tasting this sweet dish!

The ambiance is adorable, the staff is friendly and location is fantastic – La Galette Creperie is a must!
