The owner of Bear Flag Fish Company’s goal was to give his customers the freshest and highest quality fish possible, and he has definitely accomplished that. This fish market and restaurant has some of the most delicious and healthy eats in Orange County. Running on whatever the market price is, the menu is constantly changing depending on what the “Catch of the Day” was. Choose from the list of fish and then pick your preparation. You can’t go wrong, but here are some of my favorites!

Panko Grilled Tacos are one of the most popular choices. Loaded with hearty pieces of grilled fish and topped with pico de gallo, cabbage, and Tommy sauce (a creamy, slightly spicy secret sauce), these are some of the best fish tacos in town. The Poke Burrito is another favorite. You can choose between Ahi or Salmon Poke, which is raw fish marinated in a combination of soy sauce, sesame oil, and other seasonings. Rolled up in a grilled tortilla with rice, pico de gallo, lettuce, and avocado, you will be extremely satisfied with this unique take on a burrito! The sandwiches are also amazing. I usually choose the teriyaki Yellowtail that comes on a fresh baguette with lettuce, tomato, and Tommy sauce.

While you wait for your food, be sure to play the Lobster Claw Game. It's just $2 and if you catch one of the live lobsters with the drop down claw, they will cook it right up for you.
